- Platinum/Gold Passengers
You are entitled to one piece of hand luggage weighing 8 kg (17 pounds) and another bag weighing up to 4 kg (8 pounds) for a portable computer or attaché case or similar (in two hand luggage pieces) – a total of 12 kg (26 pounds) permitted.
- Permitted Exception
Physicians on duty may carry two pieces of general hand luggage of a maximum weight of 24 kg (maximal weight of one piece of hand luggage is 16 kg).
When storing space is limited, passengers may be asked to check-in their hand bag.

- Maximum Dimensions of each piece: 62 linear inches/158 cm (length + width + height)
Attention passengers to Belgium Czech, Netherlands, Paris, Marseille, USA and UK: The airport authorities in Brussels Prague and UK prohibit loading luggage weighing more than 32 kg per piece.

Baggage Allowance for Infants (for whom a seat has not been purchased)
All destinations except North America: 22 lb/10 kg plus a baby carriage, carry cot, or safety seat
North American destinations and Brazil:
- First and Business Class: 70 lb/32 kg plus a baby carriage, carry cot, or safety seat

$130 for every piece of luggage in excess of the permitted weight
$230 for every additional piece of luggage in excess of the number of pieces allowed
To/From Los Angeles:
$140 for every piece of luggage in excess of the permitted weight
$240 for every additional piece of luggage in excess of the number of pieces allowed
To/From Europe, Asia, and South Africa:
1.5% of the Full Fare Economy Class ticket price (Y class) for every kilogram, in each direction
